TOP 5 ENVIRONEMNTAL ISSUES THAT WE ARE FACING TODAY

Source PaksitaniUpdates

Every single human being that lives on Earth wants to live in an environment that is free from pollution and other environmental issues but currently we are facing a lot of such issues. The increase in population has resulted in increase of the issues and resulted in decrease of quality if life. All though its the responsibility of the government to provide its citizen an friendly environment and should make their environment policy pubic and should declare some budget for planning and for introducing environment healthy activities.
At the moment we are facing the following issues:
1) Tree plantation in Urban cities:
Good and pollution free environment demands the plantation of trees as the trees help in reducing the pollution and make the environment clean. Consider cities like Oslo, Malmö, Stockholm, Islamabad which are most protected cities of the world due to clean and healthy environment obtained by plantation of trees. Same thing needs to be done for polluted cities like Mexico, Tokyo or Karachi where the lack of vegetation is depriving its citizen from the clean environment. Government of each country should announce a policy that should address its citizen to plant trees so that a healthy environment can be achieved.
2) Cutting of trees:
Cutting of trees should be banned because deforestation is a serious threat to our planet Earth. Forest cover 30% of the and they provide support against sandstorm, floods and earthquakes and also these forest provide shade and residence to the wildlife. But for last few years we have started cutting a huge amount of forest which has posed a serious threat to wildlife also the global temperature has started rising due to deforestation.
3) High pollution:
One of the major environmental issues that large cities are facing is the high pollution that includes air, water and noise pollution. In large cities, factories are working day and night and are emitting dangerous chemicals in atmosphere which are spreading a lot of air pollution. similarly their drain is thrown into rivers, canals or buried underground where it is getting mixed with drinking water. Poor people who cant afford mineral water have to drink that sub standard water which is resulting in many diarrheal diseases including Cholera, and other serious illnesses such as Guinea worm disease, Typhoid, and Dysentery. Secondly increase in transport has also raised these air and noise pollution issues.
4) Waste:
Increase in population has resulted in increase in demand of products ranging from electronics to food to diapers. To meet the demands of increased population some environment destructive practices are used which are resulting in increase of waste. we need to take measures to reduce the waste and to introduce the recycling process like Belgium so that waste can be eliminated and our land can be saved from dumping of chemicals like cadmium, mercury and lead.
Global Warming:
All the issues that i have mentioned above are resulting in global warming. Global warming is the increase of the Earth`s temperature due to greenhouse gases that are emissions of burning excessive fossil fuel or due to deforestation. The impacts of the global warming are the rising seas, change in pattern of rains, increase in floods and tornadoes, melting of glaciers, increase in the amount of diseases and loss of plankton due to warming of seas.
and if these issues aren’t handled properly they can result in destruction of the friendly environment.
